“We had great doubts, but the desire to return to Latvia was greater than the fear. It was the best decision that I could make”, says Eva Behmane who returned back to Skrunda municipality after nine years spent in England.

“The amount of work that needed to be done, is enormous here. I saw how it will look like, it is easier when you imagine it in your head, because it moves you forward and motivates. You have to follow your dream, in spite of the fact that there are various obstacles”, Eva is certain.

“Yes, of course, we can say that there is an inadequate salary in our country, that we have no places for work and for living, we have a lot of disorderly things. When a person wants
to return, he will find a place to live, find a job and everything else”, says Eva.

“Everyone belongs somewhere. I am a Latvian. Here is my home, my land and my place. Definitely.”
